Every year there are over 300,000 lane-changing and merging traffic accidents. Over 700 of these accidents result in fatalities. SignalŽ mirrors are positioned at the eye level of adjacent drivers making them more noticeable than conventional tail lights.

With the increased popularity of taller vehicles, i.e. SUV's, trucks, and mini-vans, a motorcycle has a greater probability of becoming "hidden" by these larger vehicles. The high intensity light from the SignalŽ mirrors may be the only visible indicator to drivers two or three cars back.

Drivers in the colored "blind spots" are alerted of the intentions of a motorcycle equipped with SignalŽ mirrors.

Reaction Time

SignalŽ mirrors use LED lamps which illuminate 1/5 of a second faster than conventional incandescent tail lights. This provides drivers in the "blind spot" of the SignalŽ mirror equipped vehicle an additional 19 feet of reaction distance when traveling at 65 m.p.h. Thus, unlike other accessories that soften an accident, SignalŽ mirrors actually may help prevent one.

SignalŽ Mirror Upgrade!
In addition to the standard turn signal function, now you can include a braking signal with SignalŽ mirrors! The module can be added to an existing SignalŽ mirror installation or can be included with a new installation.

Brake Signal
When the brakes are applied this feature provides a "steady on" lighted chevron in both rear view mirrors. If a turn signal is being used at the same time as the brakes, a flashing chevron will appear only in the corresponding side mirror and the brake signal remains "steady on" in the opposite mirror.

NOTE: The Muth brake module is to be used only with Muth SignalŽ mirrors. Using the Muth brake module with anything other than Muth SignalŽ mirrors may damage the module!
