Integrated LED Turn Signals

2002-2003 Honda CBR-954RR Motorcycle

This is a retrofit to the stock 2002-2003 Honda 954 Tail.  The brake light portion of the stock setup is totally replaced with 56 Ultra Bright Red LEDs and 40 Ultra Bright Yellow LEDs in addition to the retained 6 stock LEDs, making this the Best and most intense looking tail Custom LED has made so far! 

Just as on the other models, the system is designed so that the red LEDs turn off (on one side) when the yellow comes on so that the turn indication is a pure yellow light.  The unit automatically flashes between the red and yellow on the side you're turning! The Yellow LEDs are slightly offset to the side you're turning as well, creating an animated effect actually pointing to the direction you're turning.

The engineering is solid and dependable, the looks are unbeatable, and the brightness is incredible! Don't waste your time with half hearted solutions, do it the right way from the start, with Custom LED.

It is very hard to photograph these LED tails because of how intense the light is. The pictures above have been slightly altered to achieve a more realistic depiction of the actual appearance of the tail in person.  Please note that the actual distribution of light is uniform, and not blotchy as it appears in the animation above. Rest assured that actual performance is outstanding, bright, and precise.

Stock flasher relays on motorcycles are designed to blink twice as fast as normal when a bulb is burned out.   Leds consume so little power compared to the stock bulbs, that the flasher relay thinks that a bulb is burned out when this is not the case. If you have replaced your stock turn signals with LEDs and your turns signals flash too fast or do not flash at all, you may need to add a universal load equalizer. The Fast Flash will not harm the bike, some people believe the fast flash draws more attention, if you like the faster flash rate this part is not needed. 

Universal Turn Signal  Load Equalizer w/ connectors
 Simple locate the turn signal wires and snap into place with the supplied connectors. The load equalizer produces and equivalent load of a 7.5 ohms turn signal, therefore the unit will get  hot. Caution: This load equalizer will get hot, please mount accordingly. Suggesting Mounting - Under seat securely mounted to frame rail.

Installation: Connection one purple to left turn, remaining purple to right turn, black to ground. Connectors are included.
