Dynamic Load Isolator for 2018-2024 Harley-Davidson® Softail Motorcycles

Custom Dynamics® Dynamic Load Isolator (DLI) isolates the motorcycle’s Body Control Module (BCM) allowing for the use of almost any aftermarket lighting product or electrical accessory. Simple plug and play installation provides isolated power, accessory & ground output banks.The DLI electronically isolates all outputs from the vehicle, there are no relays or other mechanical devices that are subject to mechanical failure. A short circuit on any accessory connected to the DLI outputs will have no impact on the vehicle, all outputs are 100% isolated from the inputs to help protect factory warranty, prevent BCM codes and avoid damage to the vehicle from non-compliant aftermarket accessories.

DLI output port functions will follow inputs from the motorcycle’s factory wiring. Specifically, the output ports with LTOUT and RTOUT labels. If the OEM wiring carries turn only power, the DLI output ports will also feed turn only power. However, if the OEM turn signal wires are multiplexed to carry both brake & turn signal functions, these output ports on the DLI will also feed brake & turn signal function. DLI output ports labeled LTBOUT and RTBOUT will always feed turn signal with brake power. To discuss custom applications or confirm product installation, please contact our Technical Support Team.

Optional 4 Pin Trailer Harness (sold separately) can be wired to the DLI outputs providing completely isolated, plug and play, trailer lighting hook up.

Note: Additional CanBus Adapter (1 per turn signal) is required when stock rear turn signals are removed for custom applications (sold separately).
