It’s better than a reflector. I recommend it. It took about two beers to install it. Remove the reflector and drill a hole, clean with alcohol under your fender and use the connectors given and splice into the license plate light connector under the seat. It has a brake light wire in the connector on the line side.

We simply removed the reflector and attached it there on a 2025 Breakout. Ran the wires under the fender and attached under the seat. Had friend do the electric it looks amazing and I love the added visibility.

Great product easy to install. Looks like it was OEM greatly increase his visibility from behind on Harley fat boy only wish Harley had the sense to include these from the start.

This is the perfect tail lamp for a ‘23-24 Harley Davidson Breakout. Was looking for a lamp to add visibility to the back without appearing to be an after thought. This lamp will replace the factory reflector perfectly. It requires a little bit of effort but I was able to hide the wiring and mount this using existing bracket and looks like it was always part of the factory lighting. It serves as a running light and brake light. Am very pleased with this and with all of Custom Dynamics offerings as I had already replaced all the original turn signals and brake lights with these upgraded LED’s. They far exceed what HD offers and the prices are comparable or better and a great warranty. Have used Custom Dynamics lighting on all my Harley’s and will continue to do so in the future.
