Upgrade your Harley-Davidson® Softail with confidence using the Custom Dynamics® Running Light Load Harness. This harness is only required on models where the factory front turn signals do not function as running lights and operate solely as turn signals.

Typically, 2025 U.S.-market Harley-Davidson® Softail models and 2025-2026 international Harley-Davidson® models are equipped with factory front turn signals that do not provide running light illumination. On these motorcycles, the factory headlight halo running light circuit provides a load that is monitored by the BCM. When replacing the OEM headlight with an aftermarket LED headlight, the BCM may detect the missing load and set a fault code. The Running Light Load Harness accurately replicates the original equipment headlight halo running light load to prevent BCM codes and ensure proper system operation.

Designed for seamless plug-and-play installation, this harness pairs perfectly with Custom Dynamics’ Shark Demon® Motorcycle Headlights or ProBEAM® LED Motorcycle Headlights (sold separately) providing a smooth transition when upgrading from the factory headlight.

Additionally, the harness allows you to retain factory lighting components, including turn signals and taillights, while enjoying the performance and visibility benefits of an upgraded LED headlight.

DOMESTIC: 2025 Harley-Davidson® Softail Street Bob (FXBB), Low Rider ST (FXLRST), Low Rider S (FXLRS), Heritage Classic (FLHC), Fat Boy (FLFB), and Softail Breakout (FXBR). Not required on 2026 models.

INTERNATIONAL: Typically required for all 2025-2026 Harley-Davidson® Softail motorcycles.
