Works as advertised only issue i.had was wiring as the written instructions tell you to trace the black wire from the plug on the bike and the diagram shows tracing the yellow wire that that comes from the bike side of the plug. The diagram is accurate and you need to connect to the yellow wire side.

So, I will start this by saying the harness works as it should. No problems at all with it itself now that I sorted the wiring out. With that said, just wanted to write a review with a word of caution for others who may get it and cannot figure out how to get it to work. I have an 04 Road King and unfortunately, Harley wired it differently from the factory than the included instructions show AND than what the actual Harley wiring diagram itself shows for the bike too. Had to do tracing and figuring things out to trace down exactly where the issue was that was causing it all not to work per the instructions. My issue in particular was that Harley had wired the switch itself backwards, so instead of the hot lead going to the center, they had the ground at the center. I just had to pull the yellow and black leads in the four way connector from the main harness and flip them to the opposite sides to fix my problem and get it all up and working correctly. I did see some other people post about similar incorrect factory wiring not matching the wiring diagrams through searching as well at differing parts throughout the bikes of this vintage, not just there so figured I would let other know in case they get this or something else and then discover it not to work as it should, not necessarily a CD issue, but very well may be an HD issue instead.

Hard to install--but good to have

On my '12 RK, the aux light switch had soldered leads so had to remove existing connection with soldering pencil in order to use the lug. Also, a word of caution, there is more than one circuit inside the headlight housing that uses these connectors--make sure you attach to fender tip light circuit and not the other--on mine it was a black connector instead of white.
