TruBEAM® LED Headlamp with Auxiliary Turn Signals for Rushmore Road Glide

This is the first review i have done ever , i have had other lights by custom dynamics turn signals and such . They knocked this one outta the ball park i went with the black and chrome very nice fit and finish it is a busy headlight but holy s…t is it bright compared to factory on my 21 limited . Very impressed with quality and function .

I got the light to replace a OE light with a failing right low beam. I got it because I know I can trust the quality and for the lifetime warranty, but I wasn’t completely thrilled with the looks. The light is pretty busy when on, there’s a lot going on. But if it performs, I guess I won’t see it when I’m riding so no big deal. One thing that I do find odd is that none of the lights stay on when the bike is in ACC mode like the stock Harley light. I mean those weird lights in the corners, which I’m not sure what they are for could have stayed on.

Highly recommended you consider what your life is worth when comparing the price of this light to any other light. Never would have thought it would be such a huge difference. The side pattern, or beam lights into yards and fields so much better than stock! Then you notice how it becomes a cornering light in your turns! Dam!! I see so much more of the road! First time ever my wife saw deer in a field before me! Also the halo effect is so noticeable in the day and night, other drivers have to take notice!! Strongly recommend this to all riders!! They got this one right!!

I was back and forth on purchasing. OEM is decent, so I wasn’t sure if the upgrade was necessary’. I bought the vent lights and felt it was needed if only for form, not function. I was wrong. These are needed. I have never enjoyed night riding until I upgraded my Road King to CD lighting a few years back and when I got my SG, CD went in immediately. After getting my 2020 RG, I scaled my purchases of CD to put in. On this one I did both turn signals and vent immediately, but held off on headlamp lighting as stated bc OEM is LED and decent. Three things make this my fav product-
1. The beam angle and amount of light is out of this world better. The side view is amazing. I can see shoulder and tree line (head on a swivel for deer) far better and with high beam it’s like daytime riding (exaggerated but close for sure).
2. The look of the ring matches the vent and turn signals completing the look.
3. The ring being a turn signal is icing on the cake.

Did the install myself, 2 hours, def OCD and measure twice cut once kind of guy, probably an hour for someone more mechanically sound.

Several comments on forums indicated that the stock lights on my 2017 Road Glide could be improved by adjusting them up or down. I spent several weeks messing with settings and just could not get what I wanted. The price of these lights had me a little concerned that it was not worth the cost. Boy, was I wrong!

I have now been riding with these lights on my bike for almost a year and I have done my first winter rides in the rainy Pacific Northwest with them and I could not be more grateful for how much better the road is lit up with them. Last winter was pretty scary riding in the rain at night. This year, all I have to deal with is the rain, not the poor lighting. I have very light-sensitive eyes and I have found that they can introduce more glare, but I compensate for that by wearing a yellow visor.

The best thing about these lights is the breadth of the arc around the front of the bike. I don't feel like I am missing stuff in the corners anymore, especially at night in the rain.

The only complaint about them is that my riding buddies do not like having me behind them in group rides. Problem is, they don't want me in front either because the back of my bike has strobes on the Tour Pack, brake lights and LED Fillerz so the back of my bike lights up like a Christmas Tree when I brake!!

These headlamps should be stock on any Road Glide.

Traded a '05 Road Glide with a Daymaker in for a 2016 Road Glide Ultra. After having experienced the Daymaker Projector LED headlights in the '05, the Reflector LED headlights that came in the 2016 RG were a disappointment. The reflector type LEDs that come in the '16 just didn't have the beam width or distance of the projector-type LEDs I installed in the '05. Installed a set of Custom Dynamics Trubeam LED Headlamps in my '16 RG, and couldn't be happier. The projector LED elements in the Custom Dynamics Roadglide Trubeam have restored both the width and distance of the headlight beam, and the Halo LED DRL/Turn signals look fantastic as well as an added bonus the Daymaker didn't offer.

This Milwaukee 8 is my third Road Glide and each one has had the best headlights that I could find,to include HD Daymakers. When I first got the Truebeams I was delighted to see how they light up not only straight in front but off to the sides. Having recently had the opportunity to take a night ride on some very twisty roads I can say that these are truly magnificent. This is the first Road Glide that the lights did not fail in the corners, just something inherent with the design of the shark nose fairing. But your engineers are to be commended as these lights shine incredibly in the corners as well as everywhere else. Congratulations and THANK YOU for making perhaps the safest way to ride a new style Road Glide at night.
