This plug-and-play replacement module is a direct OEM substitute for TSM and TSSM units on Harley-Davidson models, functioning solely as a TSM without security features. Additional safety is integrated with the OEM safety switches to prevent starting in gear without either in neutral or the clutch pulled. Designed for low current consumption, the module also incorporates built-in short circuit and overcurrent protection. Constructed with robust, high-quality components, it is backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty and operates within a wide voltage range of 11VDC to 15VDC.

My TSSM had stopped working on my 2007 Softail Fatboy. I replaced it with the smart tsm and got my bike back on the road. The instructions were easy to follow and I did not need a scanner. I followed the manual program procedure and it worked flawlessly.

Stranded, 750lb paper weight fixed!

Installed a TSM-3 August 2025 on a 2010 CVO Convertible and it’s worked flawlessly for the past seven months!

Great company, Custom Dynamics technical support worked a website issue and next day verified that this bike needed a TSM-3, it’s a low number production run model so no foul on Custom Dynamics website; actually, it was nice to talk to a real person on the other end! The battery (Lithium) on the bike went south during the install which caused no little frustration on my part; however, the module still programmed without a hitch. Yes, the battery was fully charged before I started… Now seven months later the TSM-3 has worked perfectly every ride and I don’t have to worry about the OEM security module leaving me stranded some where in the Texas “Outback.” I more than recommend replacing the OEM unit with one from Custom Dynamics! Loose the OEM unit before it shuts your ride down in some obscure location with no way home! I had a weird turn signal quick-flash on the left turn signal only and it would come and go. HD couldn’t figure it out and this went on for a couple of years before the bike just wouldn’t start. Custom Dynamics took a 750lb paperweight and turned it back into a reliable ride! Added bonus, I can add LED lights without having to change anything else!

Easy peasy

This was legit plug and play. I was trying to find a diy way to bypass my TSSM because I'm cheap, but it's a project I didn't really have time for. I got tired of seeing my bike parked and lonely, so I finally bought this. It's perfect. I also bought the gasket, but forgot about it when installing the module. Oh well. If you're on the fence about this, and know it's the solution, just get it. You can be riding again in less than 10 minutes!
